How do you keep a 6 year old child with a broken leg busy while in bed at home? - bed leg extenders
My daughter has broken a leg and now the whole leg in a cast up to my thigh. The doctor said I should not change for at least 6 weeks and should be. I'm fast running out of their way to distract her while she is lying, and we still have (weeks someone has an idea? Thanks.

I suggest reading books, puzzles and games.

The poor thing. I do not agree with other answers. After his stay in the bed is not only practical and healthy. You can watch the color TV and 12 hours per day.
I would try to get a wheelchair and to lead. Make his life as "normal" as possible, even if he can not move. Even if you do away with him for an hour a day - is better than nothing.
Can you define a bed in the room? This will continue to lie, but do not feel of what is happening is excluded. You can also put a tent in the living room and a sleepover. With just the family. Again, you're lying, but they feel part of fun activities.

Here are some ways that the work might be:
1. Films. (Hannah Montana, if shes in the Disney movies, etc.)
2. Video Games / Freehand. Nintendo DS children is great and keeps you entertained.
3. You can sit in his arms, and can paint them. receive a large canvas at Michaels and it is crazy with him with some watercolors.
4. Barbies and Barbie clothes pile (if you play with them too)
